For more than two decades, Chosei Kusano has designed landscape and outdoor environments throughout Southern California. As the principal of c·scape creative and a California-licensed landscape architect, he brings experience in residential communities, model homes, parks, recreation areas, multifamily developments, commercial properties, institutional facilities, and custom residences.
His work spans conceptual design, site planning, design development, construction documentation, planting and irrigation design, and three-dimensional visualization. Chosei has contributed to projects for prominent homebuilders, including Toll Brothers, Lennar, and Richmond American Homes. He also supported Walt Disney Imagineering on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland in California and Magic Kingdom in Florida, contributing to the design and documentation of exterior structures, paving, and planting areas.
Chosei approaches each project by balancing design character, site conditions, functionality, constructability, budget, and long-term maintenance. Through c·scape creative, he works closely with property owners, developers, architects, civil engineers, and other consultants to create attractive, practical outdoor environments and clearly coordinated landscape design packages.
